Wow, that’s pretty awesome. Is it dangerous to set this stuff up on your own, though? Or because its solar power is it pretty safe to do without hurting yourself? I only ask because I don’t know much about messing with electrical work, and I don’t feel like causing serious damage because of my ignorance.

As with all forms of electrical power, I would always get a licensed electrician to work on that. If you know what you are doing its perfectly safe, but if you do not accidents are sure to happen. whereas the power output from small panel will not hurt you, several solar panels combined can provide a serious amount of power. Not something to play around with.
