Colton Electric Utility makes installing solar panels cheaper by providing rebates to its customers. CEU’s goal is to have four megawatts of photovoltaic solar energy by December 31, 2016.

The Solar Water Heating Pilot Program rewards residential and non-residential clients who incorporate solar water heating systems into their existing water boilers or heaters.

In Washington State, customers of Clark Public Utilities who install solar water heating systems are entitled to a $1,000 rebate. The system must meet the guidelines stated by Bonneville Power Administration’s The Bright Way to Heat Water – Solar Water Heater Program.
