The Alternative Energy industry seems to be thinking of everything! But I don’t complain.
SolLight Solar-Powered LightCap Water Bottle
This little water bottle has solar-powered LED light built into the top of it. The water bottle can double as an emergency flashlight and might even be a good addition to survival kits (although I would hope it isn’t used a replacement for a real flashlight and I have no idea how powerful it is). Reportedly, it will stay bright for 12 hours after 4 hours of charging. It can be used on camping trips and is easy for small children to hold onto – they can even use it as a nightlight inside their tent (although I don’t know if that will really keep the bears away).

What a great idea for campers, though I would have to empty all water before giving it to the kids otherwise I’d end up with a very wet sleeping bag!
My only complaint would be worried about storing enough energy in there if I kept it out of the sun because I wanted my water to stay cold.
