The renewable energy industry in New Jersey is booming thanks to financial incentives the government offers and the lack of state regulations regarding the industry.

Solaren hopes to raise enough money to develop a solar farm that will orbit in space. That’s just a portion of the total budget that runs in the billions of dollars, as a single rocket costs $150 million.

California Public Utilities Commission has approved a plan to generate at least 500 megawatts of solar power, by utilizing commercial building rooftops.
