Solaren hopes to raise enough money to develop a solar farm that will orbit in space. That’s just a portion of the total budget that runs in the billions of dollars, as a single rocket costs $150 million.

North Carolina’s latest solar power farm was officially opened last wekk near Roxboro. It is located on a 5 acre facility in Person County Business and Industrial Center. To further lessen environmental pollution, Progress Energy will use sheep to trim the grass on the property.
